writing a script on Microsoft Word and Script writing software?

Is there a way to make it easier on Word? I just think it's so stupid to indent and etc etc. Isn't there anything I can do? And someone please explain to me what script writing software duz. I don't get it at all. haha thanks

1. There is a macro/template called "iScript" out there for Word. I haven't seen it on any sites lately ... it may no longer be supported. Diligently searching for it may turn it up. Screenplay formatting software makes it easier to concentrate on WRITING the screenplay rather than FORMATTING the screenplay. One of the better formatting packages to 'get your feet wet' is celtx.
