Where can I download voice software?

I'm working on a screenplay, and I'm thinking about assigning the characters voices, to get a feel for what it could be like as a movie. Most "computer" voices sound like robots, so I don't want to use those, and I also want to give some of the characters different accents. Are there any web sites where I can download different types of voices to use? Thanks.

1. Unfortunatly not, because the way Text-To-Speech programs work is very complicated. They analyse the inputted text and search through their database for one word at a time. This can result in the "robot" speech.
