pasting text from another software application into Word?
I cut and pasted text from Final Draft to Word. (I'm turning a screenplay into a novel. Word works, but it is slow and funky--indentations are a headache. The cursor moves slowly. Tried more than one computer. So it's not the computer. What can I to keep the text from Final Draft but get rid of the headaches re manipulating it?

- try pasting it to photoshop
- You could save it in Notepad first, then copy and paste into word. Notepad ignores a lot of funky formatting things. If this doesn't work...perhaps you can export out of Final Draft into text and then import the text into word? Hope this helps. d
- Are you saying that when you copy out of final draft (Great screenplay / script program by the way, my wife uses it as well!), the indentations are all missing or incorrect? Such as the way the spoken text is formatted in FD and the character names? I am wondering if you could "PASTE SPECIAL" into word? Maybe that would work?
