What is the best software to use for Screenwriting on the market?
The best Screen/script writing program? About how much would it cost?...

- Many people like either Final Draft or Movie Magic. IIRC, each one costs a couple hundred bucks. However, there's a free program, Celtx, which is also popular, and if you know Word very well, you can produce a flawless-looking screenplay just with tabs and indents at the right settings.
- I use Final Draft - you can purchase it for approx $169.00. I chose that software because it is the one format that most screenwriting contests accept when you email/send in scripts online. Also, the director I worked with used Final Draft and it was easy for us to collaborate. The best part about it is that it has a feature that allows you to convert your file into a PDF file (adobe acrobat). So then you can post your script online anywhere and it can be read. Movie Maker is also popular, but I don't have any personal experience with it. Good luck!
