Anybody know of any screen-writing software?
I'm looking for either software or a word processor designed specifically for writing screenplays/ movie scripts. Also any tips on getting started writing is also appreciated.

- Mac's Pages works really well if you know all of the aspects for a screenplay.
- My brother downloaded this one on my computer. Cinergy Script Editor I don't know how good it is, but he seems to like it and has written a lot on it. Good luck
- scriptbuddy.com it's a good way to start that is free to try out the style of writing before you purchase a program
- industry standard is final draft.
- I use Final Draft screenwriting software. It has been invaluable in enabling me to set up my script according to movie industry standards. This software was recommended to me by a working screenwriter.
- Final Draft. Most screenplay software will do what you need it to, but FD is the industry standard. Plus when production on a movie starts, Final Draft has the ability to make things very easy on the AD and PM as it has tags that break a script down into elements for budgeting.
